The 8300A’s circuit design delivers all-new sound quality. The soundstage it produces is deeper and broader, with greater space and separation within. Instrument and voices are better de?ned, their character is vividly portrayed. Dynamic range is greater and frequency response is further extended, with greater bass de?nition and treble that is both crisper and sweeter. To incorporate all this functionality, there must be compromise under the lid, right? Wrong. The 6000A’s lead electronics designer is Jan Ertner – the same man responsible for the 8300A, as well as many other award-winning audio components over the years. When challenged to deliver 6000A at such a low price point, Jan returned to the technologies he implemented in the 8300A and painstakingly redeveloped them, whilst adding high-quality digital circuitry to the mix. The result is a new-generation amplifier evolved from the architecture of its pricier sibling, delivering exceptional sound quality alongside those flexible facilities.
Versatile High End Integrated Amplifier
At this ampli?er’s heart is a powerful dual-mono ampli?er delivering 75W per channel into eight ohms. CFB or ‘Complementary Feedback’ topology o?ers superior linearity and ensures excellent thermal stability.
ACD or ‘Active Current Drive’ means current limiting is under microprocessor control, programmed to allow the ampli?er to supply high currents into complex loads, on par with ampli?ers that are bigger and more powerful on paper.
