CSC Technology
(Cumulative Stage Coupling)

All Amphion subwoofers 
incorporate Amphion´s proprietary CSC-technology, which increases the coherence of the whole system greatly and keeps the phase correct at all times by altering the filtering slope.

When the crossover
point is set higher the filtering slope steepens gradually when moving towards higher frequencies. Thus the phase changes are linear and the group delay stays minimal.

At the rejectionband (>150 Hz),
the slope steepness is 30dB/octave (5th degree) which keeps subwoofer inaudible and thus improves stereo imaging and selectivity.

CSC ensures that
subwoofer and main speakers work seamlessly together in all situations. CSC filter can be by-passed by x-over/direct- switch so that Impact can be also connected to the LFE channel of the home theater amplifier.
